Mangaluru city is very well connected by road, rail, air and also by sea and the city is blessed with abundant nature with tropical weather and a minimum variation in temperature throughout the year. It will be between 24 0 C and 34 0 C, with good rains for about four months annually. AVTAR is situated on 14.65 acres of land at Ullaibettu village, near Gurupura in the outskirts of Mangaluru and facilities have been made on the elevated stretch of land measuring
3.22 acres adjoining the main road coming in from the city. The focus is on retaining the existing lush green frontage stretching towards the Phalguni (Gurpur) River and is aimed at making the project self-sustaining by continuing the existing agricultural activities in an organic way by utilising the natural sources of water and green energy. The river bed hosts lush green fields and is a sanctuary for many varieties of birds and species throughout the year.
The project site is free from pollution and renders an aesthetic atmosphere throughout the year even though the location is just a 30 minutes’ drive from Mangaluru city and located about 3 km away from NH 169 which connects Mangaluru to the famous temple towns of Moodbidri, Karkala and Sringeri. The connectivity from the main highway is through a 16 feet wide concrete road and besides this there are two good approach roads from the city, via the well-maintained lush green suburbs of Mangaluru.
